After having my daughter in October there are differet foods that I just cannot eat anymore. For example any type of egg just makes me sick. I also cannot stand the smell of eggs! It will literally make me gag. I dont know if it is just a phase that I am going through or what. If it is a phase it has been going on for a preaty long time now. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this after having a baby. It is really weird.

you could say i've had this experience as well. there are many but the most obvious one in my case is that now, i eat sweet stuff a lot more than i was able to previously. i also love eating birthday cakes. i couldn't even eat a little before i gave birth to my first son but while pregnant with him, i started craving for cakes and even now, i still love it. there is another food that i stay away from now because of my pregnancy i guess. something like steamed pork dumplings. i used to eat it lots but not now. i feel like gagging too. they say that it's common to shy away from some foods after pregnancy here. a lot of my friends have similar experiences so don't worry.

I have had four babies and with each one things have changed within me. Before I had my oldest, I couldn't stand the smell or taste of caesar salad, and suddenly when I was pregnant with him, close to delivery I craved them sooo bad, and now I can eat them still, with no problems. Before I got pregnant with my daughter I loved oranges, orange juice and when I became pregnant with her, I couldn't have it anymore, it made my stomach upset and that was 10 years ago.Even things like allergies change, before I had my first I had horrible allergies, then after I had him...nothing...then I had my daughter and had mild allergies...then my second son....no allergies...then our next baby and my allergies are as bad as they were before I had kids. it is really hard to know the changes that will take place, I mean the physical ones are obvious, but the ones like food tolerances etc. that aren't really talked about all that much are hard to know if what you experience is "just you" or if others have similar experiences. Brilliant question!

I have never had a baby so I am not talking of my own experience but I guess if someone can get cravings for really weird things during pregnancy I guess maybe things change a lot in a womans body so maybe taste for things after might change as well, I hope you get over it....
