Hi ATTENTION mylot members. Last week there was a post about earning money by placing a HTML code on your site or blog site it claim to earn you 3.5 Per day. BE very careful do not load it onto your site. Once the HTML code is loaded, everytime someone visits your blog site or site, this code will automatically take your visitor or even yourself to a new site they directed. It is all automatic. The original mylot member that posted this did not reveal actual site name but just ask to go to a link which was also hidden by Tiny URL. (the site is Paid-ad.com) I did the mistake of signing up thinking it was similiar to adsense- BIG BIG MISTAKE. it took me forever, to finally beat the clock and finally manage to delete the ad code this bogious site show. I will not mentio any names of mylot, because I notice their original discussion was already deleted from the discussion by admin. I just wanted to share this with everyone in case they stumble upon a discussion with this site again in the future. From now on, I am staying away from any discussions that only provides TINy URL link. it is not safe because you cannot see the whole site name, until you click on it. good luck and any question let me know it is past midnight, I am going to sleep.

Thanks, my fellow mylotter. If we report all bogus sites, this world will definitely be a better place. Isn't there a place where we can report the site, so that it is blacklisted and removed from the internet? There are quite a few scam registries, so there must be a place to report the site. Any ideas, fellow mylotters?

For a change, this one: scambusters.org. There are others, so we can really do a lot, if we are not reluctant to.

I have to admit I am very disappointed in the mylot member that posted this Tiny url. I trusted that mylot members all watch out for one another and only post legit sites. But i am glad there are tons of other mylot that are still honest and great to communicate with. However, I learned my lesson and in a funny way. The Tiny url did minimal damage to my blogsite so I am glad my lesson was not a huge price to pay.
