What?!! I Just Lost A Few Cents!!

It's not a big deal that you lost a few cents, so relax It's a rule here in mylot that you shouldn't tell other people not to put links or whatever, that discussion was waiting to be deleted.

It's nothing to worry about I'm sure. I'm sure it's not something you did or said that caused the reduction. You might be surprised at the real reasons. I have been here for a year and I'm still trying to figure out the mystery that is called Mylot. The worst is when a favorite discussion is deleted. And, just for one tiny thing that was not your fault and you did not control. That means everyone's responses got deleted too. Some times people work hard on their responses and it's sad to see all that work go down the drain. So, yes, I've had it happen to me, as well. But, I can't tell you why it happens. Maybe it had nothing to do with the link. Maybe it was for a discussion that you responded to earlier this month. Or, maybe they accidentally gave you too much money yesterday and was simply adjusting downwards to make up for the difference. That has happened to me. At the end of the month, I've noticed a slight reduction in my earnings, as the staff goes through discussions just before pay day. It's just smart thinking on their part. Sometimes it takes awhile for the MyLot crew to go through them all. But, ultimately they do. Best of luck with future discussions.

by parts of discussions being removed from the discussion you started and or if yours gets deleted from someone elses that you responded to then yes you will see a decrease in your amount.

Hi, I'm facing the same problem. My earning dropped by 34 cents. Now, it is stable and not dropping anymore.

is it true !!! i haven't heard about it earlier. as i am new here i wasn't aware of this. Oh now i remember a sentence in the faq of mylot. it can be found here-- http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx it is given under the heading "WHY DO MY EARNINGS FLUCTUATE? ".

I just lost 12 cents. Maybe some of the discussions that I have participated got deleted. Well, I guess we have to be careful in posting because our post might just get wasted. We should not respond to discussions with links because surely that post will be deleted and we will also lost some of our earnings.

Looks like this discussion of yours again will be deleted. Take a look a some of the comment and you will see why. I am just posting her to see if my earning will decrease if this discussion of yours got deleted. It's so conflicting sometimes when you see someone violated some of the do's and don'ts here at mylot. You tend to asked yourself is that a violation or not, because I see a lot of people doing it. I guess it's a violation if the discussion got deleted later on. Mylot is serious on the guideline so it's just ok to remind the person doing it not to do it. Good luck.

I don't know what that is about but i have read a few of those discussions too. There was one that a person lost points. There are those that read everything tht we write in my lot. If they don't like what we have to say they can dock us for it. I think that is the way that it goes. I could be wrong though.

lol, yeah... I did not not notice it before I saw ur topic and then looked at my own earning that I lost 0.05$ and I would want to know which of mine posts got deleted too. I think it would be great if we got a function to see it, because I learn from reading my own bad posts or something like that. Now I dont even know which was bad for mylot or they just reduced it for nothing.
