No email alerts what is happening

Tell me what is happening with my email notices, I do not get any emails as to discussions my friends started, also I do not get any notices that friends or people have responded to my discussions. I used to but it just stopped, can some one tell me what is going on now. Is it something I am doing or is it Mylot. I checked my friends and the notify is on, or is it just that the people on my friends list is not posting any thing new on here. I did get a best response in the email this morning but that is all I am getting, nothing else is coming through. I feel like I am being abandoned. I was so used to seeing all the friends with their posts in my email and now nothing. What is happening!

I had a lot of mails. Every one has their own worries. Proceed ahead don't worry, sooner or later they will send you a bunch of mails.

It could be for various reasons. It could be your friends are not starting any new discussions, hence you are not getting any mails from Mylot. It could be the friends starting the discussions, but notify might be off for them. There could be so many reasons. Even after checking all these if you are pretty much sure, then mail the Mylot. cheers

It seems that on the weekends some members experience the glitch of where they don't get email alerts from mylot etc. I have had this problem in the past as well. But they do come in eventually. Then they will flood your email box with them quickly.

I know it's really disappointing. It happened to me too and as a result I have missed returning comments to those who responded to my discussions and those who commented on my responses. I had to comb through my discussions to check if there were new responses and it's not very easy finding them as I have to check each page.
I did notice that when you're active, those notifications are also active. But when you become inactive for a couple of days, they stop coming to your inbox even if you get comments and responses.
I do hope mylot fixes this glitch as soon as possible.

If all your friends are turned on ,then i cannot understand why you do not get alerts.I am sure that your friends are opening discussions....There is a place on Mylot where you can add the mylot tool bar to your e-mail address,have you tried that?If not try that and see if that will help...
