For a while ihd only had a house phone and a prepaid cellphone. Well after months of realizing the charge i would have accumalted on long distance and seeing that i could only call in town and had to use my prepaid minutes for long disntance calls i realized to get an actual cellphone. I disconnected my home phone and use only ,my cell phone now, its so much more covientent and cheaper this way.
How about you? do you have a house phone and a cell phone or do you just use your cellphone?

Yes, my cell phone is also my house phone... it is more convenient and cheaper that way... i don't think i can afford to pay telepone bill... since my cell phone is already post paid... my boss pays for half of the monthly bill and i pay half... and i think it is better that way...

I have a house phone and a cellphone. Not all of my relatives and friends have cellphones so, its best to have the house phone.

Hubby and I both have cell phones. We never wanted to get a house phone in as it was just another bill that we didnt really need. At least this way we know how much our calls are costing us. :-)

I have both a cell phone and a landline. I keep my landline for emergencys like when the cell phone towers go down for some reason which they have in a storm or if my cell phone battery has lost its charge I can charge it and still have my landline for people to reach me in emergencies.

If I had a choice I would only pay for my cell phone. Since my roommates have a house line (part of a discount program with our cable/internet provider...all three for one low price kind of a thing) I have to pay my share of the phone bill. Splitting it three ways doesn't make it all that much better on the wallet, either.
