I mostly bought the few magic cards I have on ebay. However I did notice a few stores that sell them (though amazing the toysrus around here doesn't).
I considered Amazon but wow are some of the decks expensive.
My bf also bought a lot of wholesales from ebay - that I have to resell. Sounds like loads of fun right? *rolls eyes*

I mostly buy boosters because stores where I live doesn't sell singles. I travel to Prague every second or third month and there's a store where I' buying singles.
I've also considered buying cards online but the problem is that some of them doesn't deliver to my country and some do but the shipping cost more than cards:(

Most of the low cost cards (commons, sometimes uncommons or rares) that I like to use for casual play I get at Wagicalplace.com
The prices for this site are relatively cheap (0.05-0.20 USD for most commons) but are erratic on their availability most days. Another solid site is shuffleandcut.com
I would recommend decently priced magic cards from them any day.
Hope this helps! :D
