You're right shard. If you want to be respected for what you believe in, then respect others for what they believe in. How would you feel if I call you lame and crazy because you announced yourself a satanist?

You know, continuing to call other people's faiths lame and weak is not going to win you any brownie points. You believe God does not exist, some people believe He exists... and there's a whole plethora of other spiritual paths out there. Live and let live sir, and respect other's beliefs if you have no proof to the contrary.

well for all the ones who say god exists.... well everything in the world has scientific reasons.... some have been given some remain.... you just cannot give credits to a person for it!! before the gods used to blow the winds... now the air pressure does :P plus the religion is satanism... simply because we oppose the lame theories of other religion... theories of heaven and hell and all!! also the term satan means a lot to us... it represents all the satanic believes!!

see, to me, nature itself is deity. that spark that causes cells to divide, causes things to reproduce and grow and prosper. yes, it's biology, chemistry, physics. but it happens. that drive is God. that energy, that natural force, is deity. who needs more than that as a higher force. nature and science.

I agree with Galena.... Besides most of the things in this earth are actually difficult to understand and some people just resort to think about Satanism as means to escape things. Moreover, as what we know morals (what is good and bad) is determined by people. So if people determine what is good and bad how do we now know what is really good or bad when one person may say that that thing is good and another one says its bad. See, if there was no God, a God who sets what is good and bad, a God who is loving and kind, then there would be no us. Also, when you look at the skies, you will realize that you are just part of a larger crowd. The sun and the moon and the earth will just fade away some day. If there is an end then surely there is a beginning. I wouldn't want to think that I was created out of big bang and realize that I was created out of chance. I would want to think that I was created not out of chance and I was created by someone. Satanists do not believe in God and they are created out of chances. Chances are they have no idea of what life is and what they are doing here on earth. Peace!

@^ well life is a biological process!! you can't say that you are alive because god gave you birth... you were developed... by multiplication of cells!! thats what i was trying to say.... you cannot just keep giving credits to the facts not explained by science yet to GOD!! as i said before... initially gods blew the winds later air pressure did!!

actually christians and muslims believe in same god but the way they worship are different. In islamic historical sources, it mentions adam,eva, and all others including jesus. it mentions jesus and mehdi will come back in the last day of earth. it is same in chritianity and islam. islam even mentions the history of tevrat and the prophet musa. (the prophet of jewish people). This is why in islam we believe the former prophets also existed but Mohammad (sav)was the last of them. The people in older religions just don't accept Mohammad as a prophet. This is the difference. but actually the god is one in all these religions.

dude that is because... islam was formed from jewism... and so was christianity... it was after the down fall of jesus.. that both of em were formed!! the truth as told be a Christian to me was... that jesus refused to over throw the caesar at that time... and all the supporters were thinking he would do it... when he said it clearly that nothing like this is going to happen... then he lost supporters... coz they were thinking of getting good position when jesus becomes the caesar... so many of em went back... well others became rebels called as jihadis... and formed islam... under phropet!! while on the other hand jesus had a down fall and caesar hanged him!! so thats y you can relate these 2... but not all!! if it would have been same... then there would have been no problems!! the muslims throw stones at haj... saying that it is devil... well actually in hinduism that is lord shiv... who crys that if only one hindu could bath me with ganga water ( religious water from river ganga, india) then he would come alive.... and the muslims don't allow that.... issues like these have lead to religious disharmony... and thats what i wanted to say !!

actually its not.... it says not to hurt some1... but if he hurts you don't stand back!! and for the commanding thing.... the division of god over religion... i mean hindus/muslim/christians all have different gods... and they all just keep fighting for who's the best!! and its termed as survival of the fittest... darwin has said only the fit should survive... thats natural development!! they religions has just grouped ppl. now they fight as groups..!!

well all i have to say is.... if god exists proof he does!! and even if he exists what good is he doing.... you mean to say hes sitting somewhere where you don't know!! then he can't help you... but when you die he asks you... lols!! sir the only thing real in the life is you... you govern it and no one else!!

Lahire, God does exist. How do you live without the existence of God. You cannot. He give each and everyone the breathe of life. I hope one day you will come to realize that there is a God

You can be very spiritual without believing in any gods, or worshipping any gods. Many branches of Buddhism believe in no gods, that doesn't make it any less a spiritual path. You know how the saying goes...

lahire~ i apologize, i mis read ur stance on satan....thank you for politley clarifiying (many ppl on topics of religion and politics turn away from politness) as to the second part....i've always been taught that an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a God (deity) of any sort....regardless of spirituality....but like i said...that is just as i understand it.... ~j

i said i believe in satan but not as a deity..!! satan for a satanist... represents the path of life!! the answer to second is.... atheism doesn't believe in spirituality... satanism does!!

Aleister Crowley was involved in various ritual Magic groups, such as the Golden Dawn. he was also a notorious self publicist, and would love it if he knew that people beleived half the stuff he said. as for the terminology of Satanism, I think to begin with, it was probably attention seeking. rather childish really, but that doesn't take away from Satanism as a spiritual path. those I have met that follow it, are, on the whole, decent, spiritually aware people. some of the tenets are a little indicitive of selfishness, but those that follow it don't seem to be any more selfish than the next person.

sort of. Satanism is a more spiritual form of atheism. it has no Gods, that's true. but it's still quite a spiritual path.

hey all~ sin is an archery term meaning 'to miss the mark' in Christendom it the 'mark' is what is considered to be 'right or proper' 'moral or ethical' for someone who does not believe in absolutes, for humanists and for those who are atheists, sin would be to miss the mark that 'they themselves' set. what is sin to one man (or woman) may not be to another.....while i am a Christian and i do believe in absolutes, i have to say that to some.....there is no sin.....yet to others that very idea is a sin in and of itself.....(i know it sounds contradictory but if u think on that for some time you will see that i don't deny my belief in absolute or what sin is, i just acknowledge that some don't adhere to that and that i believe that everyone is free to make that choice) ~j

@poshboy even i don't feel the guilt in cheating the exam... :P plus y did pope benidict made owning riches a sin... does that make you feel guilty... :O well if that old man would have asked donations.... a billion ppl. would have done that!! and even more he himself owns so many jewels and jems... enough to feed a entire nation for an yr.... does he himself want to go to so called hell :P plus the biggest flaw in the whole theory is confession :P a person commits a sin... he goes and confesses... again he commits the same sin and confesses!! for a satanist... not believing in oneself is a sin... if at any point i got a prayer on my mind thats a sin... but neither it leads you to hell... infact i take it as a mistake and try not to do it again :P which theory is better :P

i don't say that getting drunk is sin. but the effect makes people unconscious with what they do/say which will mostly do something not right, like fighting, or stir up trouble :) when people do something not right than we can say that they're breaking the law & they'll get punished, sin also will get punished, so just say that doing something not right is as the same as sinning right since both will get punished? :)

as i said below.... the term satan has different meanings... for christians a satan is a being... for a satanist... it is a term that represents qualities of a satanist... it represents absistance, kindness to those who deserve while vengeance against the ppl who envy us!! and many more philosophies!! read satanic bible by anton laVey!!
