Mythbusters: have your children tried to emulate them?

My 6 year old and me watch Mythbusters daily, and he "tries" things he sees there: for instance he "invented" a gas propelled skateboard (he just tied a plastic cup to it) after watching one episode.
Have you been on the same situation?

Not with a six year old but my husband has hinted at trying some of their experiments so I try to avoid letting him watch that show. :-)
