Everyone seems to despise Runescape, and it's true, I get extremely bored of it now, but it was once an awesome game, and there was Graal Online before it. Anyway, what games are like Runescape and/or Graal?
I'm looking for a nice MMORPG to play in my free time, when I'm sick of chatting with random people on MyLot. ;D

Well if you're willing to splash out a bit of money you could always try Guild Wars ( http://www.guildwars.com/ ). There's a once of fee and no subscription. It's got PVP, PVE, Guild Battles and everything you could ask for. I played it for over year and it was great fun.

Endless Online is a broken game.
I can't even recover my account, and they haven't updated in well over a year. Also, the game server goes offline constantly, and it's an isometric game, so I feel like I downgraded to the alpha version of Runescape.

Have you tried Endless Online. I'm not sure about the house or map editor (I didn't play it much), but it does have non-combat skills.

Syrnia is kinda like RS but, it is text based. There are skills that you can work on and build houses and shops. It is a free game to play and very addicting. You can mine, fight, cook etc. Some people that have come from RS don't like it due to you don't see your person or that but, others really like it.
I like it due to the vast areas that you can up your levels in and the people that you can talk to.

Runescape is highly addicting. I got bored of it when i realized how i was wasting my life playing it. I've played it for 3 months and it started to take over my life. I really enjoyed it but as i gotten older, it has become a thing from the past.
My advice is, if you become addicted to any game, think about what useful task you can be completing in everyday life than just sitting at home and playing games.
