Since time immemorial, the subject of sleep and dreams has intrigued man. Sleep fascinates people because it may be somewhat reminiscent of Death : We lie down, we close our eyes and we are dead to the world. Apparently only a few minutes later, without being aware of any loss of time, we get up again. Sleep is an event that conveys the subjective appearance of not happening at all. we are not aware of having slept. Sleep is non-activity that seems to steal one-third of our life. Dreams, that are usually part of sleep, can be very unsettling and can even make us question our sanity.

well,it depends on the angle from which you are looking at sleep, for me i think sleep is one of the greatest gift of God to man,it can be beneficila if done in the appropriate dose and also negatively affct us if done in excess,is there anything that is not bad when it is in excess,?sleep sometimes kills pains in our emotions and it also help rejuvenate our body for it is whhen our body is at rest that it builds itself, dream on the other side ai something we are yet to be able to find totla explanation for as sometimes it gives direction and even revelations
