This is always one of the entertainment highlights of my year, we traditionally watched it as a family when I was growing up and I'm watching it now, well actually I'm just taking a break to get some food. So far it's making me laugh a lot (mainly Terry Wogan's commentary and the Bosnian entry!!) What do you think of it? Do you take it seriously or is it just a bit of a laugh? What were your highlights? Did the right song win in your opinion???
Enjoy the show!!! :o)

I agree, Israel was very good. I actually wanted Serbia to win though, I thought their song was really nice and they deserved to do better. The UK came joint last, which was a shame as our singer has a lovely voice and he did a really good performance. Maybe the song wasn't exciting enough though. There seemed to be lots of comedy songs this year, and I didn't really like them very much! I think they don't always work too well as different countries have different sense of humours, lol! Well, I can talk Eurovision for hours but I'd better stop and have some breakfast :)
Thanks a lot for your reply.

i use to watch the eurovision song contest when i was young, but to be honest i find the whole concept so boring now, and for me it just seems to biased, and rigged at times. European neighbours always vote for eachother, and some of the acts that gets votes are appauling. Having said that the best bit about the show, is Terry Wogans commentary, which is commical, espcially when they presenters are talking nonsense. I say bring back Sir Cliff Richard for the UK, only chance we have of winning i guess.
