Is there anyone to beat sachins record and fame in world cricket?

Little master as he is...more than 25.000 runs in international cricket and also with no critisism of his charecter...still keeping his head low ,do u think anyone from world cricket overwhelm him.
My opinion....No way ,no one at the present lot or in near future.

I am still saying that you are joking. Do you listen to other cricketing nation otherwise than India. Even India have promising cricketers. My friend Cricketers come and goes.

Hi gokoool Welcome to mylot, and enjoy your stay here. I think sachin, is not beyond comparable and though he is a genius, one must not forget Ricky Ponting, who have surpassed Tendulkar's record on Century in test cricket.
Also, Tendulkars most of the tons are taken in the home soil, and not very many in the foreign. Also more than 16 years of cricketing career, which must on accounts must be applauded, is more than enough for any batsmen to score 34 centuries.
By all these, i dont take any credits from the little mastero, but what i mean is that there are a lot of young talents around the world that have not be properly nourished and noticed.

I dont have much appreciation for Sachin as he is hanging on to his position in the team these days. He should ve stopped his career well before this stage and let other youngsters get their chance. The money is the most important factor, without doubt, that is keeping him in the game at this age.
I prefer somebody like Gilchrist, to be a better player, coz he plays really good against all oppositions, and he decided to stop his career when his form was at its peak. Thats a good sporting man.

I know that there are many who criticize sachin for whatever he do..But there is no one in cricket to replace him..He is the master...and someone said about ponting,hayden and gayle...I have no reply for that guy...he simply doesn't know the mastery of sachin..the god man of cricket "sir Don Bradman" has picked sachin and only sachin from the modern cricketera,in his DREAM TEAM...is that because bradman haven't seen ponting,hayden and gayle or whoever....And i don't think that you are better than Bradman in cricket..are you??

When someone like Bradman doing charity and he give out invitations to people will everyone accept it. Sachin is one of my batsman but face the fact. Sachin also has bad time just like every other cricketer. Sachin is no better than Brian Lara. He has record, lara has record. So what is the issue. I also remember vividly that INDIA was asking your little master to retired when he was not performing.
As I said before Cricketers come and cricketers goes. Do you see the match between Australia and West Indies. Ricky Ponting makes over 170 runs.

yes dear there area aplenty who may not agree with and we are not here to antagonise what others say but in my opinion ,he is an all time great. though pontig and others may have threatened sachin by scoring a little fast hetre and there but the statement that he is still there and humble after 16 long years of cricket is and shall remain unparalled in world history.
do you think pontings will be here for such a long time no and never
