I am currently working in a private dayhome and am leaving that position to open my own dayhome. I am wondering if there are any of you out there in mylot world that have a dayhome and if you do, what are some tips for interviewing parents, being interviewed by parents? What are things to watch for and what kind of guidelines do you follow as far as how many kids etc. you have at one time? I am planning to take on 5 kids I will have one kid at home in the fall as the other 3 will all be in school fulltime. Do you think this is a good option? I am finding myself torn, and worried about it, though part of me knows once I am actually up and running I will make a very good living with it as I LOVE children so much.
