Hi zz1111,
Get someone to rub Emu Oil into your back each night just before you go to bed.
If you've injured a muscle or other soft tissue in your back, that will help to quickly heal it.
Another good thing to accelerate healing is Comfrey. If you can get some Comfrey cream from somewhere, use it as well as the Emu Oil, because the Emu Oil will help it to soak through your skin to where it's needed.
I hope you get better soon. Make sure to eat lots of fresh fruit & veges too.

Did you pick something up wrong? Thats the first thing to ask yourself.. Most of the time when a person has back pain it's because of that.. Lots of rest will help, staying off your feet and putting them up.. However that can be painful too.. I know I've been threw this before.. The only thing really to take is Tylenol that will help as well oh and some hot packs on your back too... Hopefully this will help some.

Perhaps you have have overworked your muscles so it was strained. It's also good if you could identify which part of your back hurts. SOmetimes, an internal organ could have been involved like mine today. My lower back hurts because I tried to refrain from peeing three days ago because I cannot find a public toilet. Also, I washed pillows and stuffed toys and they are heavy when wet and it could have strained my back muscles. If you can no longer take the pain, you can seek medical help or try taking pain relievers.

I'm not a doctor or medical person but it sounds like you've maybe pulled a muscle in your back. Yes, breathing can hurt when certain muscles are pulled, and it hurts a lot!! I've got joint problems and I pull things like this all the time and I know that it's a horrible feeling not to be able to breathe deeply. You could have done this without realising, sometimes it's possible to cause injuries like this just from carrying something that's a bit heavy or even from sleeping in a bit of a strange position. If you're worried you should get it checked, but hopefully it will go after a few days if you rest it. I hope you get to play basketball again before too long, (but don't rush back to it!)
