well to tell you the truth no two wheeled vehicle is safe with all the other four wheeled vehicles who don't think to look for you. With the economy like it is I am thinking of buying a scooter myself. But the dangers of my distance I have to drive makes me leary and I don't know which kind would be the best to get. I would need something that can at least keep up with traffic. Most of them top out at about 45 miles an hour and with the distance and traffic I drive, I would get ran over.
