I want to let you all know that I'm still here and I've been busy working everyday. I'm going to have foot surgery soon but don't know when. I took some x-rays of my bunion on my foot on the 13th and haven't heard from the doctors.

I'm a caregiver and I do sit down when I'm all cought up with my work.

I was a nurse for 20 years and that is hard on your feet. A nice mint foot soak helped after work for the aches and tenderness on those especially hard days.

Hi there Nan you never know you might not need one I suggest you phone your Doctor and find out why you have not heard yet It seems a long time for them to let you know

Did you have the surgery? If you had it I hope you are doing well. My daughter had bunion surgery on each foot(2 seperate surgeries..several years apart). Each procedure was different. The surgery that required her to be on crutches for 6 weeks is the foot that has done the best. The other foot(walking boot, no crutches) bothers her on a regular basis and I am sure she will require another surgery on it.
