Do you take your contacts out at night or sleep in them?

Do you sleep with your contacts in at night, or do you take them out before going to bed?
I got the kind that you can leave in for a month all day and night, but I was told to take them out when I sleep because my eyes have a problem that they are not getting enough oxygen and the doctor can see blood vessels forming on them.
I was just wondering what everyone else does.

I take my contacts out when I go to sleep at night, mainly because my optometrist tells me I should. However I generally leave them in if I end up taking a nap and then use eye drops when I wake up. If I am going to be taking an extended nap or know I won't be needing them for at least a couple hours I will take them off just to give my eyes a rest, and then put them back in when I am ready to go out.

I used to wear my contacts constantly for months at a time. That wasn't good for my eyes I guess. I got conjunctivitis twice but only after I acidentally poked myself in the eye with my mascara. I don't wear contacts anymore. It's a good thing too. I could have done some real damage to my eyes if I continued to wear them all the time like that.

I took them off every night. It is a bad habit if you dont take it off. It will dry and may stick to your eyes because the contacts lose moisture when you sleep. I am satisfied with my contacts right now. Just do the proper way of using it. And it wont harm you. :)

I've always been extremely bad when it comes to taking out my contacts. I did good for about a year, but I've fallen back in the habit of leaving them in...My eyes are soo bad that it's just a horrible feeling when I have them out, even for the short time from getting my glasses and putting them on..
