I keep seeing these commercials about magicjack. Supposedly it's supposed to eliminate your phonebill almost 100%. Does anyone know about this and if it's a proven method or is it just some huge scam? Feel free to enlighten me on the subject! =)

I was interested in this myself, until I saw someone on a forum said he tried it, but his friends were being billed long distance to call him. After hearing that I just gave up interest.

Yeah, there is always some catch whether it's your end, or someone else's, *sigh* I figured it did seem kind of iffy. I'll just stick to the free video & phone chatting/iming through the internet, lol =P Although the quality isn't always necessarily good, it's completely free so why not? Of course not everyone has the internet so there are still people that I talk to on the phone!

I am very wary about offers that say free for 30 days or any number of days. If anything is free it should remain free forever. I see a lot of offers which, if you don't read the fine print says that they will charge your credit card a certain amount unless you cancel the order. It is kinda sneaky if you ask me.

Well supposedly by getting this it totally gets rid of the phonebill but you have to pay $19.99 a year to them in order to use it. Seem's kind of.. shifty to me. I wonder if anyone has any information on this? or maybe they actually tried it and it works? hm!

Remember, you get what you pay for. I have a mj, but now it has bad quality. I have problems with the audio because I can't hear what is being said by the other person, but they can hear me very clearly. If you decide to get a mj, I would recommend you have a cell phone as a back up.
