my 5-year old son likes internet games. it's one of his hobbies especially now that school's out for the summer. we do regulate his computer use though. i am happy that he is able to enjoy this technology that his dad and i never had when we were younger. we just want to give him the best.

Hi there Chari!
That's really great! I have a five year old son too who's into pc games. He introduced me to mini-games in y8.com, he plays counterstrike and DOTA too. We have an internet cafe that's why. Now that it's summer, he stays with us here in our shop and he's allowed to play the computer from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a break for snacks.

my son does play in y8.com and yes, dota and counterstrike too. kids these days huh! your kid is lucky you have an internet cafe where exposure to more technology is easily accessible. but do make sure to regulate his number of hours. and yes, when school starts this june, it's back to weekends for my son's computer time.

Well, most of the children are very much interested in computer games either internet games or games from CD/DVD. They are very well versed in that too. The only thing that worries me is that by sitting in front of the computer all day through will make them obese. They are not interested in to involving other activities like playing with other children, reading, other hobbies etc. Parents should be very strict to regulate the computer games. Let them play these games only for one or two hours daily and try to inculcate some other hobbies in them. Also make them aware about the importance of exercise.
