earthquake in China

5.12 is a memorable and harrowing day for us.
In two weeks,I got no more tear to cry.
it is not only sad,but moving.
Seeing the scene in the event,I am proud and fortunate that I am a Chinese.
I think nothing can defeat my country.
Come on,my mother---China!!!

Yes, I am equally heart felt here and saddened by this recent disaster. It is really very tragic especially when we had just celebrated Mother's Day and all of us just could not expect such an event to happen.
Although, there were miracles and lives being saved, there were losses too. I am really touched by the selfless sacrifices of the aid workers and volunteers.
I just hope that the rebuilding will be a success and soon.

You are right. This earthquake gives everybody lots of tears. But we are still moved by many facts. People try to do the best to save people and people sacrificed themselves for others. They are real heroes. We are becoming much more united than before.

totally agree with you.i can't remember who has said such sentence: 'in peace age,a massive disaster is like a war.'
we chinese show the strong solidarity in this big earthquake,which strengthens our nation spirit further.that's may the only fortune in the disaster.
