To those who doesn't know it yet, every time you forward an email, some infos are left behind from the people who got the message before you - their names and email adds. You may notice that as the message gets forwarded, the lists of email adds builds up and all it takes is one email address to acquire a virus and all those addresses stored in his computer will get the virus as well. Or sometimes you see an ad which says "you can get email addresses as referrals with a certain fee". They are selling your email add. This is also one way to get 1000s of junk mails.. So here are some ways to prevent Spam or junk mails: 1.When you forward an email, always hit the forward button so you can delete or edit or cut the informations in the message.First to edit is the message of the one who sent it to you and the email addresses that follows. Only the actual message should be forwarded and nothing else. 2.Don't put any address in the TO: or CC: fields. Just use the BCC for listing the email addresses. In this way, the people you send it to, will only see their own email add. Your friends will only see an "Undisclosed Recipients" in the TO: field. 3. Remove the FW: in the subject line. You can also edit this portion or rename it if you want. 4.Then Hit the forward button from the actual message that you've edited and that's it. Remember, inform your friends about this so we can stop Junk/ Spam mails and Viruses.

Most spammers harvest their addresses online with spiders/crawlers, though... it's all automated. But your suggestions are definitely great privacy guards :)
