Saying goes " The Lord will never give you more than you can handle!!"

I do understand when you undergo alot of struggle you tend to question God.Its quite natural. I read this prayer which has given me alot of comfort and I would like to share it with you When you are sad....I will dry your tears When you are scared...I will comfort you When you are worried...I will give you hope When you are confused...I will help you cope. And when you are lost..And cant see the light, I shall be your beacon..Shining ever so bright.This is my oath.I pledge till the end.Because you are my friend. signed:GOD I would also like to share the bamboo story with you. God planted the fern and the bamboo seeds.He looked after both with great care.The fern grew quickly whereas nothing came from the bamboo seeds.He never gave up on the bamboo in the 5th year a tiny sprout emerged.But 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100feet.It had spent 5 years growing roots.Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.So God says he will not give any of his creations a challenge it could not handle.God will never give up on you.Never regret a day in your life.Good days give you happiness.Bad days give you experiences.Both are essential in life.Keep going.hang on there each one will find their way.God bless.Have a good day.

It does not mean that if you are weak, you cant get problems and if you are strong, you can handle bigger ones.. hahahahahah!! It's just that all of us have problems purely because human beings have more emotions and the problems are created by us! So if you are strong and have a lot of guts to create problems, of course you can handle them yourself!

I get what you are saying and yes he does test you to the limit quite often! I don't think if you are weak it means you don't have to suffer it just means that you have to get stronger! xxx

Hi Raydene it is hard to believe this when experiencing any suffering but all dips of the rollercoaster of life start going back up again and in the up moments you can look back and see that you were given strength somehow to live through these moments. Boy I have shouted and screamed and hollered at God before now over this one so I do know what you mean by Him pushing you to the limit. Ellie :D

i just think this saying is non meaningfull as was made by some guys sitting and chating about things they didn't understand! actually the lord gives people what they can't handle as to test their faith.

This saying doesn't bother me. I believe it gives me strength to try harder and really seek a solution to my problems. It gives me hope and makes me feel that God is really beside me. I too struggle with life's ups and downs but I also believe in the saying, THIS TOO SHALL PASS. I get a sense of security in my mind from it.
