I played before 4 hours in one match because both of us have 2 hours each to complete and we almost exceed the time limit. That was the Southern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association meet and when I qualified for the PALARONG PAMBANSA in Philippines highest meet in educational level we only played in 3 hours and not exceeding in to that. each player have 1 1/2 hour and that comprises to 3 hours whole playing time. Luckily in Palarong Pambansa we emerge as the champion and that was in 2002 in Naga City.

nearly a hour and a half.... the opponent took a lot of time to think... he really pissed me off taking a lot of time for each move. I lost the game closely, may be i can blame it on my frustration and impatience.

The longest match I played was 2 hours. I was so frustrated because my opponent was so slow to move. Maybe he wanted really to win that game (we bet $1 for that game) that's why he made sure that every move was the best one. I lost the game because my impatience got out of me.
