how to add html into my profile?

Please help me to add html codes in my profile. I used my edit profile and add content tab. ANd actually added html codes into it. But when i clicked the save button . It just gone back to the starting position. What to do? Is there any score limit, only after that i will be able to add html codes? PLEASE HELP !!!
