Do you read other's responses before posting your own?

I tend to read the discussion/question, post my own response, and then go back and read other's responses. Mostly because I have my own thought process, and don't necessarily want other's opinions to influence me.

I agree that I too first read the topic and what a person has to say about it and then I make my suggestion, post my ideas, etc... before reading any one elses statements unless I am not sure what the person may be asking exactly and need to find out more details which will then lead to my reading other responses first so that I can be sure that I am answering what is being asked, I guess it would depend on the discussion.

I respond to postings based on my own view of the topic. And to those postings to which I would like to make some contribution, advice, suggestions. They are all my own views and no influence whatsoever from others. But , some times, coincidentally, my views may be the same as some other mylotters' views.
