Has anyone here ever used Hubpages?

Hubpages.com is another site where you can write and get paid for it - it mostly reminds me of Squidoo more so than Associated Content. Does anyone here use it? Have you earned anything from it? I am considering joining it but thought I'd get some feedback here first :)

I like Squidoo much better. My hubpages got flagged for ridiculous reasons. I have never had one problem with Squidoo...I haven't been there long enough to catch a pay cycle, but when I do I'll let everyone know if I find it worthwhile. I recommend Squidoo over hubages!

Hello vera5d. I've only recently heard of Hubpages.com and haven't checked them out as yet. I have checked out Squidoo and even started a lens there, but never finished it. It seemed like an awfully lot of work and I couldn't really figure it all out. Sorry I can't help you on that one. PearlGrace

That's okay - I started squidoo too but gave up on it because I just wasn't getting much $$$ from it. (I think I've earned a whopping 34 cents so far there!)

I used to use Hubpages....until they flagged (unpublished) ALL of my hubs for reasons that didn't even apply. I had one hub flagged for 'promoting another website' and I didn't even mention another site in my hub??? I don't understand what the deal is there, but honestly, it's not worth my time!!! I never really seen any earnings from it anyway, even when I had 50 hubs!! If you're interested in making money that way, try Xomba.com. It is the same idea, but they're much easier to deal with and you'll see a lot higher earnings!

That is crazy! 50 hubs and they unpublished them ALL? Thabks for the suggestion for xomba - will see what it is about when i get back from vacation :) I think I may give hubpages a go anyways just to see.
