Hehe... i dont know. But, my dad yes! He can spend the whole night playing chess with his friends (they have a chess club in his office). My dad taught me how to play chess, but i cant be good with it. I prefer to play damma, its easier, simpler, and lesser time to finish the game compare to play chess. The players have their ego to win, so they always think more time, just wanna win!
I think this kind of game can sharp your mind since you're brain is working to manage the strategy how to finish the set...

Hi Manya. Chess is one of my favorites. But, I haven't played chess for some time now. I still like it. I am not a member of any chess clubs at this time. May be in the future ! I can sense you are a very sharp-minded person.
Best wishes to you !

I have never had any interest to play chess. It looks very hard to play. I have never had a chance to ever try to play it either. I think I may like it if I ever did learn how to play it. I don't know anyone who has a chess game though. I guess I could go buy one sometime if I felt the need to learn it.

You said damma so you're referring to Checkers. When I was a kid, I also played Checkers but it was on my 12th year when I began playing Chess. Yes you're right, it can sharpen your mind. It's just like you're the supreme boss in a castle and you're strategy is needed to surpass the attacking force of your opponent. Believe it or not, the first piece of this particular game that I first familiarized was the "Knight".

First of all, I consider chess a sport. I learned it when I was in fifth grade. It was dad who taught me. Sadly, I haven't been playing it, so my skills have deteriorated. But I agree that it really sharpens the mind. It also is therapeutic.

Yes i know how to play chess but am not very good at it. Whenever i play my son or daughter they always end up beating me. Even tho i was the one who taught them to play in the first place.
