Do you think somebody will try to assasinate Obama?

Okay, let me put this upfront. This is not something I came up with, lol, but I saw this question on another site and thought it to be interesting. The poster on that forum thought that Hillary's Robert Kennedy comment was hinting at that Obama may be assasinated either just before the nomination or, if he gets the nomination, somebody will try and kill him before November. I do agree that somebody like a white supremacist may have an idea like that and may try it. Do you think Obama has a big target on his back?

Alot of persons are hinting that if Obama wins there will be an assasination. I am hoping that this will not happen. We are now in the 21st century and persons with these mentality should be caution. Time as change and the world has seen too much hatred. Americans should be aware that the whole world is watching. They has alot of enemies and if they continue to talk about assasinating Obama they are only given their enemies ideas. Hillary needs to think and talk positive thoughts. I know that the citizens of America only wants the best for their country. Negativity will only brings down one country.

It's definitely possible, I mean...as far most people can see, he represents a total revamping of the system. Maybe not ENOUGH change (most of us really don't have any idea what he'll truly do if he gets in office), but enough for it to be a new ballpark. Enough for him to be scary and threatening to some people, and that's also usually enough motivation for some as well..soo.. Like I said, it's possible. The fact so many people in the media have been hinting at it, playing on some folks' fears since he got in thw race...is unnerving.

Yes, but not for having black skin. But I think if he were to become President he would be the most unamerican President we've ever had.

This time around it is going to be a hard choice for me when it comes to voting. I vote every year and this is one year I don't wanna. There is no one I want in there. But I have to figure out whiche is the lesser of the evils. It could happen or couldn't. Just like if Hillary got in I know would make some angry. I personally wished canadiates would just stick to the freakin issues and not have the mud slinging. I think the past assasinations were done by the government itself. Is it time to move out of the country? Canada or the UK is lookin good.

I honestly do think it's a very plausible idea. I think there are still a huge amount of people out there who are not ready for a black leader and I think the extremists of those people are quite able to at least attempt this feat.

If I was him I would fear for my life just for the remarks he has made against the american whites and the poor and anyone that does not come up to his standard of education and weath, he is a snake that if elected I don't believe will make 4 years, I don't think Hillary's quote was a threat, I think it was more of a warning, I have heard many talk of one him being black and they will not have a black man in office, to me this is stupid, there are black mayors, there are black governors, but you know some people in this world would not approve of a black man running this country,Why do you say a White supremacist, do you not think that he has insulted the blacks that are poor too, he seems to be ashamed of his white roots, on the one side, too me he is out to get the whites for how his life has been, he is trouble and I fear what he will do to this country if he is elected, all I can say is if we are lucky McCain will get in, some dont' like him but I can tell you what I will be able to lay down at night and feel like I am safe as I can be with his ability to protect us, as for Obama I believe the terrorist are just setting back and waiting for him to get into office and they will hit us big time again and it will be no one fault but his.

Well I know as soon as he started running I had this question pop in my head as the same for many other's.. I hope nothing hpns to anyone but the sad matter is that there are some people who just can not get along with other people.. I do not think Hillary put a target on him and did not put this idea in anyone's head..we all should also watch we are saying on this subject as well because we might be being watched for this after all it is about an assasination so just everyone be carefull on this subject..

For her Kennedy comments Hillary should drop out of the race. If anything happens to Obama during this campaign Hillary can probably be classed as the one that put the target on his back in my opinion. One might ask several years later- "What happened to her attorney friend that was brought to Washington and then shortly after found shot in a park," That in my opinion was a mystery that was never properly solved.

I don't think assassination should even be discussed. They were saying the same things when Jesse Jackson was running for Prez. "Run Jesse Run" was the big joke. If Bush has lasted thru his two terms with all of the psychotic hatred that has been blasted at him then I don't think we need to worry about Obama. and if it did happen it could just as easily be a Black group thinking a Martyr would be even better than a candidate, as a white supremacist. One thing you can be sure of. If this man gets elected, We won't be able to say one word against him. He is surrounded by a fog of Political correctness so thick we can't even be sure what color he is. We aren't allowed to talk about his middle name, his upbringing, his lack of experience, His ears, his wife, his thin skin, it seems that everyday I am hearing about something else that has offended the poor guy. And already I hear people bringing out the race card whenever his numbers start to slide. No wonder they want him instead of Hillary. the Dems are in a tough spot here. If you vote for one you are a racist and if you vote for the other you are a misogynist. I think a lot of citizens are going to realize after this election that, Not only does your vote not count, It doesn't even matter. Even if they count the votes in Fl. and Mi., they won't be right because Hillary was the only one on the ballot.

hmm its hard to say. most people are just talk so i'd say most threats on him are emipty (forgive my spelling) however more and more people are saying he'd be a even worse leader then bush so maybe it'll happen ether way i have no care for his life or any other person in government matters but at the same time it would be sad if he was killed because hes part black. i wonder if people are threating to kill cilnton because shes a woman. hmm if not for the fact i hate poltics i'd say this is intersting to think about... then again, a anime i like is on...
