I am still having a hard time with mylot.

I have no trouble posting comments to discussions. I apparently don't have the worst time starting a conversation, or topic I guess. Although I am slow in learning this site. The last time I tried to start a conversation I tried to tag it with a photo and the photo got tagged with my "conversation". It makes Me mad because I am not generally so slow to get it. I just spent a half and hour trying to figure out how to add a link to my profile or whatever and I find no real place to do that. I got into a edit "mode" and I had choices but none that I believe would have helped me accomplish that. I definately understand plain english and I feel like I even understand bad english (ha ha) but I can't figure out exactly how to find my house picture from a bit back or how to get that "conversation" where I wanted it either. I think the beginning of my problems start when I try to start a conversation and I am ending up trying to pick a "interest" to put it "under". If YOU know what I Am type chatting here about and don't mind adding enough info to help me "add a link to My profile" and how to erect a conversation from a photo I added... or only 1 of those 2 things or know something that will make me feel like I can figure it all out because You point me to a conversation or link that really outlines these things I seek PLEASE let me know.
