My friend received a divorce ring

I never heard of Divorce ring B4 All i know is engagement ring, wedding ring, friendship bareclet and Divorce Paper? and how come father gave it to daughter???

Yes, I have heard fo them. They are really neat. I read an article in the paper about them about a month or so ago. Apparently a divorced woman had the idea when she took her wedding ring to be re-worked. They are really cool looking.

I have never heard of a divorce ring. whatever may be, it is very much touching as i guess. The father may have wanted to let her know that the love from the father will never diminish.

I have never heard of a divorce ring, but I have attended a "divorce party". It was a great night - started with all women (some that had been divorced, some single, some married & the host that had just been divorced) at the hosts house & by the end of the night we were dancing and laughing in a nightclub!

No I have not heard of one before that is a strange thing to have to be honest But I think her Dad was a bit wrong to say that to her though as there will be someone for her that will love her for who she is I found mine after my Divorce and I could not ask for better

But that is very interesting that her dad give her that and once I thought about it I kind of understand what he's saying(meaning) Thank you for sharing this discussion because I would've know anything about a divorce. I have heard of a divorce ring...never being given by the father but I don't see why not. I kind of wish it had been an option for me a I missed having a ring on my finger...but that feeling came long before the divorce because I'd lost my wedding ring and we hadn't had the money to replace it. Kind of sad all around.

I have never heard of a divorce ring before,and when I first started reading this discussion I thought it might be a bad thing,but I am glad I read it because it sounds very sweet.

This sort of makes no sense to me, but at the same time it was a very sweet idea to give it to his daughter.

I have not heard of this, but the love of the father for his daughter is obvious in his gesture. What a lovely thing to do. I can guarantee that my soon to be ex will be getting a divorce ring ---------- right through his nose! LOL
