First of all, welcome to mylot community wagster. The number in the ( ) is the number of response you've made so far. In your 100th post you'll get that star and the number in it is the reputation you've made, the highest is 10. You can invite friend to join us here through your referal link which you can see in your profile. You earn points and mney by posting and giving sensible responses. There's a lot friendly and supportive people here, so I'm sure you wont have a hard time coping. Any question you might have there's always someone here who is willing to answer. Enjoy your stay and happy mylotting! Take care buddy.

hey...
same...
i am new here too...
anyway...
the () behind the name is the number of post you had made or replied to...
i think that the people who have the stars are those who has the highest ratings..
friends you have to let them accept your friend request
and you will get more money when you post more replies..

1. That number is the number of posts you've added. Respond to some discussions and watch that number rise. As it gets higher you get more benefits from MyLot.
2. I still haven't figured that out yet.
3. To add friends you go directly to their page and add them. There's a link on everyones page right at the top.
4. You will not get rich here but the more you post the more you earn. Get your typing on.

okay I'l answer your questions..and hope I'll be able to help you out a bit :)
1. The number in between () are the number of responses the person has. It does not include comments or discussions you started so don't get surprised if you comment to responses and the number in () didn't increase.
2. the numbered stars show your sort rating or your reputation in mylot. You get this star when you reach 100 posts, the number increases when a mylotter rates you a + and declines when a mylotter rates you -. If you hover over the star you'll see something like mylot reputation 90/100. Just respond with high quality posts and you sure will get a high reputation. :)
3. You add friends by directly going to the profile of the person you want to add and there will be a link that says "add as friend" below the avatar of the mylot user :)
Just remember to post quality responses and you'll be okay :)

Hey, I'm a newbie too. In fact I joined just yesterday. Well I'll just tell you that the number between the () represents the number of posts you've made.

Well I guess all your questions have been answered by almost every member who responded ahead of me, I would just like to guide you here the MYLOT WAY and not other member's way so you won't get lost or something like that.
Mylot has their own FAQ's and Guidelines posted here, I suggest you check them and understand almost everything the administrators expect us to do here. You can check out those links below, read the DO's and DON'Ts because they are the most important rules you have to follow as you post here..

It looks like with the responses you've received thus far, you've gotten answers to all of your questions. Cool.
It also appears that other newbies were interested in the answers as well.
Welcome to you and to those other newbies who showed up. :-)
