Better grade,Broader perspective of life?

IN China,better grade in the school indicate broader
perspective of life in the future.people who are talented in exam have more oppotulities than others.most of us think so ,it's right or not? please explain some phenomenon similar with it in your country.

While it is true that good grades are a necessity to get into a good school they are in no way a requirement to be a success. If your plan is to be a professional such as a doctor or lawyer they may be necessary but many of the world's most unsuccessful entrepreneurs have very limited schooling.

i do not think its correct to assume that since i made horrible grades in school and scored genius in an iq test.. in america they base a lot on grades as far as if you will get into a good college and people in america seem to associate college graduate with success which is funny since i know several people went to college then never did anything with it
