Yahoo used to have a pretty good (if not so large) auction site; however as of June 1 it has ceased operations. When it comes to auctions unfortunately there is just no other... you might want to check out craigslist but I have never used it before but is a VERY popular site.

Hope that helps you out

Have you tried craigslist.org? You can list almost anything for sale on there and without having to pay a fee.

Yeah I know what you mean. But I've seen some negativity from people ebay buyers as well. Fortunately not first hand, but I've seen it just the same. So a seller should always be cautious no matter where they list the things the are selling.

ya I have tried that site and I don't care for it too much. There is always problems with the person who ends up buying what I am selling.

Amazon and Yahoo are two other sites that offer auction services. Unfortunately, Ebay has the market so well dominated that the other sites get hardly any traffic at all. As long as they have no real competition they will most likely continue to raise fees.

I have found several sites. Check out Blujay, LoudFrog, and Ecrater.
