it's up to how others rate you.certainlly,best response is the best reward which makes your reputation go up.but as we know,it's not easy to get a best response.
while you have done a nice work here,i see you reputation has reached 99 out of 100.

in my opinion,100/100 is nearly impossible.i think many members here have done the same work as me---give positive rating to each of your response.

Hi richiem, have a great day to you my friend. I have to admit that I'm kinda jealous with your star. I have so many discussion and posts but I still have my color yellow star which means my rank is 8. I want also to be ranked as number 10 like you. Anyway congratulations for having your blue star, I hope you can keep it color blue always.

Don't worry, you'll get there soon. I assure you that every response you make in my discussions are rate positively. I think the star rating also increases when you receive a best response. I am generous with best responses.

Hi friend, I also rate positive to all mylot members specially when they have something good to say about my discussion. I also pick the best response always after 3 days. To be honest with you, I don't really know how did I get the star. It just showed up beside my name. I got yellow star at first but I don't remember how many posts I had when I first get a star.

you must be realy active, youre new but you almost have the same stats as me, ive been here for a month now i guess, i posted a discussion similar to this awhile ago, i dont know about stars colors and i asked why mine turns from red to white, heres what theyve said, the numbers is for popularity, well it is both for popularity, the numbers and colors, if you rate other peoples comments it will increase i think, and the color is for the ratings that you have got, so because my star turns from red to white someone rate me negatively i guess

Hi,
You will get a star when you reach 100 posts in myLot. The star is a rating for you. Mylotters can vote/rate for your responds and discussions. So, the more positive rates/votes you get the higher the number in the star will be.
The star shows your reputation in myLot.
