According to the Indian Law, The Girl suppose to get marry once she complete her age of 18, and the Guy is elegible to get marry once she crossed his age of 22.
This age limit has been fixed because, once a girl crossed her age then only she will be physically and mentelly preparred herself for her marrage life, like that the guy who can able to handle the family atleast once she crossed his age 22, also at this age only he can crossed couple of years of his employment, and able to settled in his life.
what about the age of marriage at your country, is there any restrictions?

There is a minimum age of 16 in the United States with parental consent, then at 18 you can do it on your own. There isn't a top age limit, though if there were one, J. Howard Marshall(Anna Nicole Smith's husband) would clearly have surpassed it.

I think, age of marriage is: girl more than 20, boy more than 25. But depends on each individual.

Here in the United States there is no real restrictions. In most states you have to be at least 18, unless you have parental permission. For me, I think 18 is a little young for anyone to be getting Married, as they are just starting out in life, but some people are still able to do it and stay together, but a lot of changing is done between like then and 22 could be why 22 is the age for males in India.

I would say that the ideal age to get married is when you are out of college and you have a career, so anywhere between 22 and 30 years of age. In America it is around 22 to 30 nowadays.

maybe it depends!here in our place as long as your still young and not yet fully matured you dont need to enter marriage.you need to be matured enough and have that stable job..but nowadays, youngs even if they are still age 16 especially girls they are involve in some action suppose to be not to do..you know what i mean! and got pregnant.even if there is law and rules we cannot control people when they want to get marriage.it's really your choice.some marry on early age but some marry in age like 30-up..

No, there is no restriction to my country for marriage. But woman under 21 and man under 22 is prohibited to marriage. But few of them denied it. :)
But the normal age to get marry is 24/25 for woman, and 27 / 28 for man... it depends...

In my country anyone can marry at the age of 18, we call it legal age, but with parents consent. by the time they reach the age of 21, they can marry with or without parent's consent as long as there are at least two (2) witnesses in the civil ceremony. =)personally though, i really don't think people should marry at the age of 18. i think it's too young an age to get married. it's just an opinion though. there are some 18 yrs old out there that are pretty much mature enough to get married for sure.

Here in the Philippines, the legal age for marriage for male and female is 18 years old. However, for ages 25 and below they will be requiring a parental advice/consent (legal document) that they are allowing their children to be married.
For ages 25 and up, parental consent is no longer needed.

I think marrying is not about the age but about how ready are you to hold the responsibility as a husband, son and also father, in my country the guy will get married at the age of 28 and the woman will get married at the age of 24 which both of them not only ready in the side of mental but also economical =)

for me, there are no fixed age in marrying. here in the philippines, if you reach the age of 22 above, as long as you can take the responsibility of being married you can get married. the main problem really is the financial stability of the person getting married. let us get practical but for me, if you are financially stable and have good job, then you are ready to get married and build your own family. happy posting!! :)
