Today, is my father's fifth death anniversary. I admired him a lot because of his loyalty to my mother, patient and understanding to us. He never complaints even if he was tired, he was always there for us when we needed him, always helped us of our homeworks, having fun with scrabbles, doing the household chores when my mom was at work, fetching us from school. Even a very tiring day after work he still managed to smile and asked us how our day was. He did the groceries and also the cooking. He was the best cook in the family. I remember, even if I am thousand of miles away from home, he used to phone me about my favorite chopsuey, fried rice and fried chicken. He used to cook that when I was little until he died. He was diagnosed of Thyroid Mass stage III and had pass the surgery but unfortunately after three weeks he died of brain attack at the age of 47. He was a great man. He was the best father that every daughter could possibly ask for! I miss you Pa! :( Do you still remember the funny things you've ever done together with your father? Please share... Thank you!

Oh yes my father passed away in 1995 and my mother in 1999 and you know I still can't believe they are gone, I always think of the things we did , the happy times, I still miss them so much for when you think about it no-one ever loves you so unconditionally like your Mother and Father..

Oh sorry to hear that Ms. lilaclady! Yes, sometimes you have the feeling that they're not really gone, that they're only on vacation, and that they will come home in a minute and hug you..right? I agree with you..parents' love is unconditional! No matter how hard headed their kids are..lol.. I know that now since I am a parent.. thank you for sharing Ms. lilaclady and have a great week ahead!
