Also, assuming you don't speak Chinese, it's better to make a print out of the hotel's web page. It prints the hotel's Chinese name so taxi drivers know it immediately. http://www.stanfordhillview.com/en/location.asp

I travel to HK quite often that's why I can offer so local knowledge. Again, referring to the map http://www.stanfordhillview.com/en/location.asp, the yellow road is Nathan Road, one of the major road in Kowloon. Stanford Hillview is a little off to the tourist center. Nearby attractions are Kowloon Park and Parklane Shopping Street. You may want to go to Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier to enjoy the view of the Victoria Harbour. Take Star Ferry to HK Island's Central District, the heart of the HK business district. Other attractions include taking the Peak Tram to the Peak (with the best view of Victoria harbour from the hill), Ocean Park (HK Island). In Lantau island, there is the Giant Buddha and the very small Disneyland (both in Lantau Island). To go to the Giant Buddha, take MTR (subway) to Tung Chung Station, then take the Skyrail. http://www.np360.com.hk/html/eng/np360_exp/cablecar_tripmap.html These are just some suggestions. Hope your family can get the most out of your stay in HK :)

Hi Everafter, According to the hotel's site, they don't have a shuttle. http://www.stanfordhillview.com/en/location.asp Here is what I recommend: If you don't have a lot of luggage 1) Take bus A21 to Hung Hom Railway Station (around 50 Min) (the terminal so you won't miss, bus fare is HKD $33). 2) Take a taxi from Hung Hom Station to Stanford Hillview Hotel. (should be less than $25 or so). Or If you take the Airport Express Rail, (fare about HKD $100, 20 Min), get off at Kowloon Station and take a taxi (about $30-35). I prefer to take the bus because I can enjoy the scene. If you stay in HK for a day or two, you can buy daily pass. Otherwise, Octopus Card is better. Ask the airport's info center if you can buy it there. There is a $50 charge if you return the card when you live HK. Usually I recommend keeping the Octopus Card because the money is valid for three years. Have a nice trip.

WOW! thanks alexwander! We are a group of 5. my mom, and my brtohers and sisters all adults. The cheapest is taking the bus right? Hmmm... The easiest way? the most comfortable way? I am planning in buying Octopus cards for the 5 of us, is it okay? it is chepaer and convenient? how much is it? Sorry my mind gets lost whenver I read their website. its too hard to understand. :D

Thanks for the rating. Now I understand more of your situation. Here are some thoughts. 1) Taking a taxi from Airport to hotel costs over $200. A group of five means two taxis (plus all luggages). 2) Bus is cheaper than Airport Express Rail ($100 - $33, $67 X 5) so bus is better. Those airport bus are comfortable with plenty of seats.

(continued after some interruption). Octopus Card is convenient but may charge $50 per card. You can't use one card for 5 people. So daily pass is best for five people for 3 days. I think. Also, ask if the hotel provides free shuttle. They may provide free shuttle to Air Express Railway's Kowloon station. However, each Air Express costs $100 per person. So taking the airport bus A21 to Hung Hom is cheaper. Referring to the map in http://www.stanfordhillview.com/en/location.asp, Hung Hom Station (not shown in the map) is east of Hong Kong Museum of History.

I'm not so sure about the route even if I'm a Chinese (mainland), suggest you take a taxi if this is your first time to Hongkong because most taxi driver can speak basic English, if want save some money, you may ask someone working in HK airport, I think he or she will give you best advice how to reach Stanford Hill View Hotel economically. Good luck!
