If you were to suddenly died...

And then were given five minutes to come back and see one person....who would it be and why? For me it would be my little granddaughter. My kids and other grandkids are old enough to understand what death is about. But she is my best buddy and I wouldn't want her to think that I had abandoned her. When I go to see her she is waiting in the door looking out the window for me and then she starts yelling "My grandma is here!" We spend tons of time blowing bubbles and doing art crafts along with baking our famous cookies. While she was visiting here one time her mommy came to get her and told her that they had to go home because I was leaving...and she said "I will be so sad to come to your house and you aren't here anymore." (she will soon be three) So I would want to come back and tell her I loved her and that hopefully some day we would see each other again. So who would you come back to see and why?

How sweet. And I know what you mean about grandkids and not wanting them to feel abandoned. This is difficult and I can't narrow it down to just one person. I could, however, narrow it down to a small group and say my father, our 3 daughters and our 2 little grandbabies. I would seriously want our 3 grown daughters to know that I love and idolize them and they will always be in my heart. Our grandkids are small and we don't get to see them that often so they wouldn't understand. My father was a dear and I loved him so much. Such a special person in my life. Sorry I can't be more specific and say there is one person I would want to see again. Oops, guess I need to add my husband to that small group as well....lol

THat is so hard, I have 3 kids and I would want to come back and spend 5 more minutes with all my kids as I need to tell them that I will always love them and I will be watching them always. However if I could only choose one person I would choose my eldest daughter she is 12, my other 2 kids are too young to understand being only 3 years old and 2 months old. I could tell her to pass on the message to all my family that I will miss them dearly and I love them all and I can give her one last hug. Like you I would tell her that I will see her again and my other 2 daughters aswell.

To be able to come back and see just one person would be difficult, but I wouldn't trade 5 minutes with my daughter for anything. She is my only child and the light of my life. Being able to say goodbye and not to worry would be a huge blessing for both of us.

Awww, I'm with you. I would come back and see my baby nephew again (can I include my nieces to-ages 5 and 7). Of course if I could I would see my whole family, but those kids are really my life. And it would make me soo happy (and also break my heart a little) to see them one more time.

I know it will be very hard for me to leave my baby since she was so young and I still want to spend more time with her but if its the will of god who am i to question it. I also dont know how to spend the remaining minutes of my life but Id rather spend my last few minutes with my baby. Just holding her and hug her tight so that I could able to send her the message of my love for her. I know it wasn't enough but that's the only way I know. So if you could have some idea on how to I could say i love you to a 6 month old baby please tell me. AAAhhhhhhhh this makes me cry!!!
