Well I asked the question. My question centres around some of the article submitting sites like triond, helium etc. Does it matter to have a human name as the author of a topic? Are other fellows rate it better or does it help in anyway building confidence to pay more at marketplace? Please share if you have an alias name or your full name or short name in helium. About helium is your username shows as your author name or the true name that you filled in the registration is shown as the author name ? So please tell me , I am waiting. Any legitimate article writing site suggestions are helpful. Thanks in advance.

Helium does recommend its writers to use their real name or a realistic pen name rather have a username like 'imawriter'. This is because publishers who buy articles from Helium like to know it is the genuine work of a real writer. It also looks more professional, and shows you are serious about your work. I write articles and reviews as Ruth B, which is my first name and initial of my last name. If I put this into a search engine my articles will appear, but if I put my real name into a search engine I get results about other people who share my real name (and I thought I was unique!) I have noticed at Triond there is a mixture of names and usernames listed in their authors, so it is a matter of personal choice.

Does helium pays well? I mean is there any guaranteed income like we have in here? Well another question. Is the pen name in helium is the username that one signs up. Do you know any other legit sites ? If so please share. Thanks in advance

Helium gives you the option to change your name after you have joined in your real name. There is no guarantee of earnings at Helium. The more articles you publish the more money you will earn but if you don't promote your articles, don't sell any of your articles or don't win any contests it could take you years to reach payout! I am now busily entering contests and the marketplace to try and earn enough to reach payout. Apart from the $10 I got paid for one article, I have made about $1 in earnings from the other articles. I was not active at Helium for quite a long time so really I earned that for doing nothing.
