why do some computer users use their cell numbers as usernames?

when we still had our shop i used to see online-gamers having their cell numbers being their characters name.
and some bloggers would even do the same.
are you a first timer of a cellphone that you need to post your numbers for a textmate? x_x
just an insight guys.. no offense.. =)

well some have a fear 2 forget der password or username,
but in case of some guys de jus gv d no. with a thought of being Lucky (i need not 2 mention wid whom....lolz)
