What is the one phrase you hear everyday and hate?

There is a phrase that I hear everyday. Everyday and it always gets to me because it never fails to be brought up. Today, yesterday, and I know I'll hear it tomorrow. That phrase is "What are we going to have to eat?" I hate this phrase with a passion because I don't have a clue 'what we're going to have to eat'. If I did I would tell you exactly, down to the last morsel what we're having. But I don't! What's the one phrase you hear often, if daily. That just rubs you the wrong way? Is it the one that pleages me or is it completely different? What do you hate it so much?

I don't hear it every day, but I hate it when I hear it. My former roomie used it. "just standing there with your teeth hanging out" another one I hate "since you aren't doing anything"

I'd hate to hear those too. One of my apartment mates always used to say 'is it/that really necessary'. I hate that phrase with a passion.

I don't get that too often, because the roomie and I do often see things eye to eye.

It annoys me . My fiance ask me that everyday, honey what is for dinner . Well, baby what would you like . It is up to you he will then say.

That always bothers me. "Well, do you have any ideas?" "It's up to you." What use is it to ask then when it's up to me?

"Is that really necessary?" grinds my gears. Other than that I don't really have a phrase that rubs me the wrong way. I just hate when someone starts talking about everyone else like they themselves have never done anything wrong. It really gets old because I'm always the one in the middle of it.

I completely agree with that. All I want to do is beat people like that.

kitten the one phrase that totally does me in and rubs me the wrong way is this one on fifty discussions all the same, what is your favorite flavor of ice cream or what ice cream your favorite flavor is, or what the flavor of ice cream is your favorite or what ice cream do you like the flavor of best? just any combo of those sends me running from that site. I see these everyday and I want to say I answered that question six months ago how about something else? of course I have not been here on mylot that long yet .lol .

Lets see, this is an interesting question! I suppose it would be something along the lines of "may I see your metro pass please" though I don't get checked by the metro police every day. Or perhaps it would be "the line you are calling is busy right now, please try again later". If "Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep" counted it would have to be that. My alarm clock drives me absolutely bonkers! I suppose that is good though, as I put it all the way across the room and have to get up to turn it off!

lol. I need to do that with my alarm because mine's just above my head here at home and I just turn it off and go back to sleep.

I hate it when someone says since you are doing nothing. I am never doing nothing. I may have stopped for a few minutes but I always have something else that I can be doing. I also hate to hear- it is time to go to work. I don't even like to hear myself say it. I ask my husband every day what he wants for dinner. I guess that would drive you crazy too, huh?

Hmm... That's a good question. But guess what, It's, "Is everything okay honey?"
