How far would you go?

Ever have kids that just don't listen to anything you say, constantly doing the exact opposite of what you ask, and the younger ones seem to follow suit?
Well one single mom in Omaha NE, just couldn't take it anymore and decided to punish her kids by having her 3 kids stand on the street corner holding signs of their crimes.
One child's sign read, " I'll never have a girlfriend, I can't respect my mom" Another read that he had stolen and he was a theif.
What is your opinion of this and would this be something you would consider? This mom thinks that if time outs and groundings don't work then maybe embarassment will.
How far would you go in getting your kids to listen?

I would never belittle my children like that, something like that could be seriously damaging to their own self confidence as they grow older.
I dont see how making my children a reason for people to pass and laugh will teach them anything except that its ok to make people laugh through hurting someone else through embarrassment.
I find removing privileages and time out work just fine!
