What do you think of the earthquake?

There was 8.2 magnitude of earthquake happened on May,12,2008 in Wenchuan,Sichuan,China.How terrible it was! It caused hundreds of thousands of people dead,and much more homeless.Plus billions of dollars were lost,and demaged lots of buildings.Have you experienced one before? what do you think of it? Is it whether or not an disaster,a chance to shift? I would like to know what your idea are.
