Today I am in shock to hear Sharon Stone the comment about the earthquake in China http://news.qq.com/a/20080526/003523.htm
At first, she was already unkind to say these words. Is this something interesting? That's so cruel to the people who died and suffered in the earthquake. As I said before, if you don't try to help them, it's OK. If you don't pray for them, it's fine, too. Then please keep your mouth shut. It's the basic respect to all of those innocent people.
There are many kinds of natural disasters in the world, how you can say that it's the karma? And actually when all of us were busy to help Sichuan people, Dalai Lama visited UK at that time. I don't think it's the right time for him to have a speech during this period. He looks kind and his smile is charming, but please stop lying and do some practical thing for the peace and help the earthquake people.
Chinese and Tibetans are a whole family. Sharon Stone, please understand that all lives are the same. This is the common sense.

I've known about this piece of news, but unfortunately i can't watch video. Your friend's right. For those who don't reapct others, she doesn't deserve our respect too. She's so ignorant to make such kind of remarks, how can she neglect all others' suffering and miserable experience by saying Karma. I wonder whether she's been educated.
All Chinese unite, and slap her outright on her face to shut her mouth from speaking this kind of word. Nonsence.
Go China, Go Sichuan

wow, I am interested to read about her comment! I can't believe that, ANyway, after I can post this response, I will be checking that site that you gave, I answered through notifications so I can't view yet your site! I agree with you, if anyone is not interested to help or has no sympathy about what is happening in the world, better for them to close their mouth!

If that link doesn't work in your side, please try this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYoZEn9vlzE
Please be patient to see all of it and therefore we can make a fair comment to Ms. Stone. It is reasonable to call her like this, as her heart is full of stones.

Hi youless! After watching the interview of Sharon Stone, I understand why you feel that way to her. What an insensitive woman! How can she ever say those things when children were also the fatalities in the earthquake. Let us boycott her films!
Take Care and God Bless!

Maybe we can write to the Academy, Emma, Golden Globe and other like foundations about not bothering to even consider her nominations with this footage attached. Ha Ha. I think this is more karmic and calming.

I was inform of this news last night. After watching the video I just want to leave her a word b_tch! She knows nothing but she just appeared be well informed of everything. I can't find anyone who is more stupid than she is now. I hope she had a good idea of what she has said and prepared for the consequence.

So many celebrities think that what they think and say is very important. Most of us here in the US don't listen to them. They think that they are leaders. I was very disappointed with Oprah Winphry With the Katrina Hurricane. All she and her friends did was take a truck load of supplies down there. Others were working at finding those people places to live and job's. She and her friends have the money to do more. Please don't take these fools serious. Not many agree with them.

You can also check this link http://www.hollywoodgrind.com/sharon-stone-says-china-earthquake-was-karma/
In fact quite a lot of websites have this news.
I copied her words as follows so that you can read it even if your sound system didn't work on your computer.
Sharon said:
Well you know it was very interesting because at first, you know, I am not happy about the ways the Chinese were treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don’t like that.
And I had been this, you know, concerned about, oh how should we deal with the Olympics because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine.
And all these earthquake and stuff happened and I thought: IS THAT KARMA? When you are not nice that bad things happen to you.
And then I got a letter, from the Tibetan Foundations that they want to go and be helpful. And that made me cry. And they ask me if I would write a quote about that and I said I would. And it was a big lesson to me, that some times you have to learn to put your head down and be of service even to people who are not nice to you. And that’s a big lesson for me …

I think you can find her this comment video easily via the net easily. Last night I found it in many big English websites and I also commented it.
What you said isn't offensive to me, but Ms.Stone may not think so. But she deserves to her this karma.

Shame on her for making such an insensitive statement. There were so many men, women and children that lost their lives and she is calling this bad karma, well Sharon Stone, I am sure those horrible remarks will come back to bite you in the a$s - and that will be what we call "bad karma"! The Chinese people are many in number and easily can boycott her work and have her "black listed" which is something well deserved.

i think delivering such a statement while chinese are grieving for their lost love ones considering the huge number of deads is a kind of immoral. i dont think its the right word to say at this point in time where earthquake experience is still a trauma. would she answer the same thing on that 7/11 attack?

I was also shocked as that was very callous of
her but she seems to be so conceited that
she is just babbling nonsense there. typical
spoiled move star. if she could not say something
helpful to the chinese people she should have
kept her mouth shut. Karma had not one thing to
do with it,it was a terrible natural disaster.I am
embarrassed for the US in having someone like
her speak like that.

Actually no body in the cosmos is beyond the purview of god. Be it Sharon Stone or Saivenkat or youless or any other guy.
It is shocking to see that Sharon stone speaking about Karma, as if she is beyond the clutches of it. Actually youless,it is an indirect method of coming to the limelight, when you are left unnoticed. This strategy is an old one adopted by the politicians and Celebrities.
Is America, resistant proof to natural calamities. Have they forget, Katrina's, and why turn to histories, what about the recent Tornado in Colorado.
It is the duty of the every human, having clean conscience, and brotherhood to help the victims, when they are in need. As you said, if one can't offer direct help, at least pray for the souls of those brothers who have lost their lives.
Actually, i thought of starting a topic some time back, to help the victims of Sichuan and Myanmar.
The topic is WHY NOT EACH ACTIVE MYLOTTIAN DONATE AT LEAST ONE DOLLAR FROM OUR EARNINGS TO THESE VICTIMS?
There may be at least some 20,000 active mylottians here, among the 130,000 + at this moment. If each one of us give a direct consent to the admin of the mylot to detect at least one dollar from the payment of the current month, and remit the same, directly to the government of Myanmar and china, this will bring them some sort of relief to the victims.
Am i correct?

This reminds me of a the saying : "It's one thing for people to think you are an idiot....it's another thing to open your mouth and remove all doubt!"
If the earthquake was Karma, wouldn't it have killed the members of the Chinese Gov't? From what I've read hundreds, if not thousands of children were killed in the earthquake. Why would they be punished for what the leaders did?
She should just shut up and look pretty. Stick to what you're good at Sharon!

And if she's not gonna say anything good, just don't say it... if truly she believes in karma, she must not say that... who knows what happens someday, instead of encouraging and comforting the people, she says that comment

Although I'm sure she's not alone in thinking things like that, she was wrong to say them in such a public way. People who are celebrity need to remember how their words affect others because people put so much importance on them (right or wrong, they do). Karma may exist, I don't know, but that doesn't mean Karma is going to punish innocent people for the actions of others. I can't tell her what to think, but she needs to keep some thoughts to herself.
The entire world is one family - it is often more our leaders who start many of the problems. We need to realize we all live on the same Earth, so in a way, we are all neighbors. I wish more people would learn that.
I'm sorry her words upset you. Just remember she is only one person. We don't all think like her.

Thanks for your support. If Miss Sharon Stone wants to be famous again, yes, she succeeded, but with the worst fame. I know there are still quite a lot of Americans who are friendly and they really love the peace. And I would like to be friends with these people.
