Hello Girls!
I'd like to know if you have any secret to prevent or handle Period Cramps.
I used to suffer of strong period cramps every month, but now they are once in a while, due to the contraception pills I'm taking.
I've heard that period cramps also depend on what you eat on the first days of your period. Friends told me that they avoid chocolates or milk when they are about to have their period to prevent cramsp. Do you think so?

Hey Mandarina,
I completely sympathize!
Try a hot water bottle on your tummy at night the heat will soothe those cramps away and you will be warmed right off to sleep.
Midol also works but I should warn you, the first time I tried it it knocked me out and I slept for a couple hours so dont take it if you're on the go unless you know you can stay awake.

Thanks! I'll try the hot water bottle, rather stick with natural remedies.
I have to be very careful of the pills or meds I take, usually for a headache I can only have panadol, if I take anything stronger I'll sleep for hours... so midol might do the same.

Try water pills they will make it hurt less or a period pill . Sometimes , motrin will make it light too . My doctor told me to rub lavender oil on my pulse points when I had pms to make it go smoother and it helped . Always , it can work when you have cramps if you rub on tummy or back.
