Since I am new to My Lot, I was wonder what the stars with different colors and numbers in them, next to an aviator mean. I am guessing that these people have started or answered to many discussions. They reach certain level for which they are rewarded. Could you give me more details on this?

One must have a minimum of 100 posts,to get a star.
The stars vary from 1 to 10.If you keep your mouse pointer over the star,it would show the reputation to the base of 100.
The star denotes the amount the other fellow mylotters agree with you and the amount the other fellow mylotters are benefited by your response.
Also, there is no need to start discussions to get a star. You must have simply crossed 100 posts.
But,the star ratings and reputation would not affect mylot earnings in any way. So,even if you have a low star don't worry.
Cheers! Have a good day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

From what I have learned the star and the number in it represents your mylot reputation and I think the more positive ratings you get,the higher your reputation gets.

Beside each discussion there is the plus or minus sign which a user can use to rate the discussion. This is used to indicate whether the particular discussion is a good discussion or not. It can also be perceived if you are popular with your mates or not.
