Has anything been stolen from you, ever? I have been fortunate so far in that I haven't yet experienced this (and I'm keeping my fingers crossed)... Care to share your thief stories?

Hi! Well I havent had anything stolen from me either. IT was my own recklessness that my phone slipped from my pocket to the tricycle. Good thing the driver was a good person. He gave me back my phone. We had an experience where my Moms laundry were stolen. The laundry were left to hang out to dry on the garage. I was watching tv at that time and it was in the early hours in the morning maybe 2-3AM. I wasnt sure whether someone was knocking on the gate or not. I was not sure and I dont want to open the gate that early in the morning. After a few hours of sleep, my Mom told me that we were robbed. He took our shirts, shorts, and my only jeans at that time. The knocking that I thought I heard in that morning was our neighbor. He actually caught the burglar carrying all our stuff. He said he tried to call us and knocked on the gate(no doorbell that time), then he thought that we were all asleep. He surrendered the guy on the nearest police district. He only stayed for a night. They ahd to let him go. I dont know why but he sure deserved more than a night in jail. Good thing he was caught and we got our stuff back, and my first and only pants, which I still wear until this day.^_^

The driver returned your phone? He's one great person... Same thing happened to me, my phone got slipped from my pocket to the taxi... Goodbye phone. It's weird, isn't it, the way someone would steal your jeans and shirts... what could they possibly do with that, hold a garage sale? LOL.

Yeah, he really is a great person. Met his wife actually, they are very sincere people. I still know where they live but I havent been able to go back. Sorry about you phone. I wondered about that too!I was thinking either he will give it as a gift to his family and relatives or he will sell them in second hand stores.tsk3

Our family had an experience. Our house got robbed years ago, when I was still in high school. I was at school, and the rest of our family went out for just two hours (for business reasons) so nobody's left in our house. But when they got back, our things were already all over the place. We believe the thieves broke in from the back bedroom window. The two jalousies were carefully placed outside the room, and the steel bar between the jalousies has been curved. We were thinking the thieves had a child with them, since it's the only body that could fit that small opening, and open the back door. Anyway, our jewelries were stolen: my bracelets and necklace, my sister's necklace and college ring, and our parents' jewelries (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings). But the funny thing was, the bundle of money, which was placed in an envelop, just laid in our parents' bed, unharmed. We believe that the culprits were just from the neighborhood because they knew our actions and we didn't notice any strangers at our place. Aside from that, our neighbor also got robbed a week before, with the same strategy. The culprits are, up until now, not caught yet. Proof? Because two weeks ago, my brother's house also got robbed, and we really believe they're the same thieves that broke our house. Same strategy, they took two jalousies at the back bedroom. Luckily, they only had the chance to take the two defective VCD players.
