We can't deny that those things do affect us socially. If our partners earn more compared to us or not. In my case, if she earns more, that's nice. If I am the one who is earning more, that's nice too. What matters is that we still do our share in the relationship and we know that we can depend each other if ever things get complicated. Besides, its not only due to their financial capability do we decide if we want to spend the rest of our life with them or not.

I think it doesn't matter as long as you love the person. because say you marry someone for their social or economical standing, and things are going great, your hubby/wife has lovely good paying job, (you don't work becuase you married then because they were well off),you have a lovely house, and then the company downsizes or they have a merger with another company and then the person who you married for social and economical standing is unemployed. what do you do? You had nothing in common you married for money not love or companionship. So I think marrying for love is more profitable than marrying for economic and social standing.

I think mental match is more important than social and economical match.Yes money matters. But if one doesnot match to her partner then there will be no peace in their life. If your views matches with your partner then you can enjoy your married life. Ofcourse money matters.Because to get our bread butter we need money. For me When I was married my husband earns good but not very good.I got proposal from many rich boy I deny them. The best part of ours is we enjoy togetherness. Both of us cannot leave with each other.

yeah i agree with you..mental match is more important than social and economical match..the marriage depend on economical,i doubt that is it only a money marriage...i think the ture love is based on the ture emotional disciplines...no matter how much money we can earn, but i can try my best to provide for my couple,it is a happy family.

It does not matter if my wife will earn more money than me or less...but all that I know is that work is worship, so the outcome of worship must never be measured. So let's be happy with what the level of incomes instead of comparing them.
