Most of the middle class people and especially students from the South-Asian countries find a great difficulty in joining the sites of their likings. For example, in Nepal there are thousands of graduate students who want to study online paying a few dollars for the course.Unfortunately, they do have money but when they want a Visa or a Master card they are told to deposit a large sum in US dollars.There are many sites which provide new sites for 8 to 10 dollars per month and many middle class people can afford to pay but the formalities of the banks are beyond the comprehension of the simple people. Likewise, many students write for the sites internationally but when it comes to payment, the servers demand credit card no or bank account no. for sending the payment in dollars.They have to get the permission from a lot of financial institutions before they get their first credit card which is actually in the reach of only millionaires.The local ATM cards only deal in local currency. I am writing the article to draw the attention of the Banks in Nepal and the other international financial institutions to seriously think about this.If common people have a simple international credit card with them,and if they receive one or two dollars in a month, it will amount to billions.For example I have about 10,000 students who have graduated under me but they are handicapped in lieu of credit cards. Any of you can pass the message forward to the concerned people will be doing a benevelont act for the backward countries. Rajasir
