Hehehe... I tried this out with my guild back before I had one and we actually had a lot of fun with this. PLease answer this question for me:
You know you are addicted to neopets when...

you are shopping and you look at the price tag of the item and you say I can get this cheaper on the shop wizard.
you go to the bank and they give you your balance before you withdraw any funds and you are thinking holy cow I'm almost to the million neo-mark at the bank.
you take your kids out to mcdonalds and after the orders are done you suddenly realize you forgot to go to the neopian bank to get your points out to pay for it.
you forget what money looks like.
you try to play kacheekseek with your dog and wonder why she's looking at you like you are crazy and then get pissed when you do not get the avatar.
you try to dress your pet up to look like a lost desert pet and wonder why your kougra is scratching you and growling then suddenly remember its your cat.
when you wake up in the morning and you want to go to the auctions only to find out that the person you are trying to bargain with is not willing to accept neopoints instead of cash.

when you meet someone new after they introduce themselves you say hello I'm two_sassy_for_you.
you try to have 46 accounts cuz you want four of each species cuz you want every basic color there is.
you go to the humane society and ask for a jetsam, hissi, poogle, cybunny, kiko, koi, draik, and a krawk. and when they look at you like you are nuts you ask what their problem is.
someone asks you how you are doing and you tell them about the great deal you just got on the shop wizard cuz you got a lost desert paint brush that was way underpriced.
you carry around pictures of your babies and when asked how old they are you say they are 1,450 days old and they like reading and learning and they insult from afar when confronted by an enemy and they live in the forest.
when your birthday comes you get upset cuz you dont get free training on your special day.
someone asks you for your address and you say I live in faerieland.
someone asks for your phone number and you say I'm sorry we arent allowed to give out that kind of information cuz its too personal.
or
someone asks for your phone number and you look at them and say whats a phone.
you hear while shopping a little kid tell there parent how great neopets is and you come over and say hello I'm raynebobrite and the parent thinks you are crazy.

I have a feeling that not most people realize how life on neopets can also reflect into the real world.
You know how thigs can be similar but also different.

I used to be addicted to neopets,and I used to have to go neopets.com every single day or I wasnt happy,but now that I am with my fiance,I dont feel the need to do neopets,but I still go to it every once in a while.

Yeah I know it is nothing but a game,and I know games are supposed to complement your life not consume and take over your life,but the way some games are they are so addicting that is hard to not let them take over your life completely,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

i was addicted to neopets before. i had my pet fed everyday, i play games to get money so i can buy my pet a house! haha i bought him furnitures and everything there is... all pretty senseless now. i did not thought i wasted so much time in that.

Okay guys, maybe it would be better if I started it off. Feel free to add, the more, the wackier, the merrier!
You know you're addicted to neopets when...
- your neopets are better fed than you
- you're broke but you have a trillion neopoints in the
neopian bank
- when you visit the neopets it doesn't say Welcome to
neopets but it says: You again?!?
- The neopets team sent you an e-mail because the need
help and wanted to ask some technical questions about
their site
- when someone asked you what your favorite color was you
answered pirate and baby
- you own 2 dozen accounts just because you wanted to own
every neopet species there was
- last christmas you always claimed your calendar prizes
at exactly 12:00 am nopian standard time
- you have 654 neofriends but your next door neighbors
don't know you exist
- If you are not able to play neopets for just one day you
begin to experience tremors, chills, nausea and
vomiting...

You decide to take a internet break but jump on cause you are fretting about your pets.
When they're ill lose sleep until you get a cure.
Spend more time worrying about hotels and services for your neopets, than where you are going on holidays.
